I've got a room available in my unique A-frame house that sits on 6.5 acres at the end of a quiet road. It's pretty secluded but still convenient - about 30 minutes to Hickory, Lenoir, or Morganton for shopping, dining, and whatever else you need. **The property:** This place is special. We've got a creek running through the property, natural spring water to the house, and tons of trees. It's peaceful out here - you'll hear owls at night instead of traffic. The house itself is about 2800 square feet with a full basement. **Your space:** The room is 16x13 feet with a decent-sized closet and opens right onto a huge covered deck that overlooks the two-car garage. Nice spot to have your morning coffee. You'll share a bathroom (it has double sinks) with the other guys. I can provide some basic furniture if needed. **What's included:** Rent covers internet, water, electric, and trash pickup. There's a good-sized kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry room you'll have access to. **About us:** Three older guys live here - one retired, one semi-retired, and one still working. We keep things low-key and drama-free. Nobody's rushing around or playing loud music at midnight. It's a pretty chill environment. **What I'm looking for:** Someone mature and responsible who picks up after themselves. This isn't a hotel - you'll need to do your own dishes and keep your bathroom clean. I also expect help with general house and property maintenance. That's why the rent is reasonable.
