We are looking for a female roommate to move in on April 6th, 2026 for short-term rental through August 31st, 2026. We are POC and LGBTQ+ friendly. Rent is $660/mo plus utilities. There is a flat rate of $500 security deposit. Details of the room: - 11'x14' (fits queen size bed, desk, night stand) - two windows (west & north facing; view of Elliot Bay and Olympic Mountains) - closet with built-in dresser - hardwood floors - shared bathroom on same floor with two female housemates About the house: Built in 1921 retaining all the charm of that era with hardwood floors. It is a 5-bedroom home (4 upstairs and one in the basement), with a greenway in the back. It boasts beautiful views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountain range on the west slope of Queen Anne neighborhood. The main floor of the house has multiple, expansive living areas; large kitchen with dishwasher, dining room, living room with large windows overlooking the Puget Sound, two porches, and a fireplace. The BGH has all essential appliances, including full sized washer and dryer in the basement. There is ample street parking and a bus stop at the top of the street. The room is on the 2nd floor with 3 other bedrooms occupied by females. The basement room houses the 5th housemate who is male. You will share a bathroom on the 2nd floor with two other females. About us: You'll be joining 4 respectful, responsible, and considerate adults, who all enjoy the benefits of living in a huge old house, with fabulous views and spacious common areas. We all live busy lives and enjoy a peaceful home environment. We all pitch-in to maintain clean and orderly common areas. We recycle and compost. We all alternate taking out the weekly garbage. You will be expected to contribute maintaining these shared responsibilities. Occasionally, we all are home at the same time, but very rarely. We prefer non-smokers and no pets.
